SEDA-COG Natural Gas Cooperative, Inc

Providing Pennsylvania Natural Gas to Pennsylvanians

Pennsylvania has an abundant supply of natural gas, but accessing it can be a challenge because of an underdeveloped distribution system.

That’s where we come in.

Why Should I Convert to Natural Gas?

OUR MISSION & VISION

The vision of the SEDA-COG Natural Gas Cooperative Inc. is to promote and provide natural gas service to unserved and underserved customers in central Pennsylvania. Our mission is to do this in an environmentally responsible and cost-effective manner to promote economic growth and cost savings.

GOALS

We work in partnerships. Working together on a regional basis provides a strong, coordinated approach for procuring project funding and support. We’re working with landowners, natural gas distribution companies, multi-level agencies and governments, and private industry to get the gas to areas that need it through planning, design, building, and maintaining of delivery infrastructure.

WHERE?

SEDA-Council of Governments’ studies identified and prioritized potential areas for new natural gas distribution service in our member counties. But we’re open for other counties to join us!

KEY OBJECTIVE

One of our most important objectives is to facilitate economic growth through job creation and retention.

We want industries, businesses, and residents to reap the benefits from this clean, safe, and economical fuel. Our cooperative has the resources to assist communities and industries to acquire funding, forge partnerships, and work through regulations to provide gas infrastructure for the benefit of our region.

We want to work with existing natural gas distribution companies and providers to complement their operations and establish new service where it’s not provided.
